As a father of four and a grandfather of seven, I find myself with 30+ years as a builder and craftsman exploring the line between my craftsmanship and art. Thanks to two enthusiastically energetic stone carving teachers, I am looking at art and shape in a whole new way. I am drawn to working with large materials and am lucky enough to have a large downed old growth redwood on our property. So here I am, spending any available moment I can, carving, gouging, cutting, shaping and creating something beautiful.
